 Global Health Education for Equity, Anti-Racism & Decolonization (GHEARD)

GHEARD is a modular curriculum for global health trainees and providers that is being published by the American Academy of Pediatrics with collaboration from the Association of Pediatric Program Directors and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health.

 Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators (FAME)

FAME helps faculty members at Feinberg School of Medicine become more effective educators in all venues — simulation-based environments, workshops, lectures and the clinical workplace.

 Learning & Teaching Global Health

The Consortium of Universities for Global Health provides links to find open-access toolkits, online courses, case studies and other materials that are useful for the global health community.

 Searle Center for Advancing Learning & Teaching

The Searle Center offers online and in-person workshops and individual consultations and a wide range of online guides and resources on course design, assessment, inclusive teaching and more.

 Simulation Use for Global Away Rotations (SUGARPREP)

SUGARPREP is a suite of free educational products used to prepare medical providers to work in resource-limited settings. It consists of the SUGAR Suite of products, a comprehensive set of curricular resources for use by global health educators.

Research Support at Northwestern

Northwestern has a number of resources to support you in your development as a scientist and as you conduct your research. These include training courses and seminars and support for research design, data management and statistical analysis.

 Biostatistics

Faculty and staff from the iostatistics Collaboration Center collaborate with investigators on all aspects of research: study design and grant development; data capture and statistical analysis; and interpretation of results and manuscript preparation. They also provide training webinars and seminars.

 Data Management

University scientists can visit Northwestern University's Information Technology website to get help navigating federally funded research requirements for managing and sharing research data. The website includes guidelines, data management resources and links to experts who provide consultation on data management.

 Data Analytics & Bioinformatics

The Center for Biomedical Informatics & Data Science provides resources and support for biostatistics, research design, data management and storage, and all aspects of data management and security.
